We're a quirky little quartet - a UX designer, front-end developer, back-end engineer, and QA tester - who've been around the tech block about 10 times each. We've mastered the art of corporate meetings, deadline dances, and the fine craft of turning coffee into code.
But somewhere between the 1,000th status update and the 500th "we need to pivot" conversation, we realized we'd become excellent feature-implementing machines but had lost the spark that got us into this business in the first place: the pure joy of creating something from scratch.
So we did what any sensible, slightly tired professionals would do - we started a side project to reclaim our creative souls (and maybe pay for better coffee).
MyClockTab is our first attempt to build something genuinely useful while having fun. It's our small rebellion against becoming corporate robots - a reminder that we can still design, code, test, and deploy things that real people might actually enjoy using.
We're trying to walk a different path - one where we prioritize making cool stuff over making slide decks, where we measure success by user smiles rather than shareholder value.
This is just the beginning. We have more tools and websites bubbling away (see what we did there?) and we're excited to share them with you. We're learning as we go, making mistakes, and occasionally high-fiving when something actually works.
